A-Z of football shirt manufacturers

October 3, 2016

a-z-kit-makers-image

Previously on this site we’ve tried to compile a complete A-Z list of football boot brands and also an A-Z list of adidas football boot models (Part 1 A-L and Part 2 M-Z – we’re still missing models for O, X, Y and Z!) and now we’re trying to pull together a list of football shirt / kit manufacturers.

There’s no way this list is exhaustive at the moment and I’m sure there are some glaring omissions – so feel free to let us know which ones we’re missing by adding a comment below – especially if you have anything for O, Q, Y and Z!

Olympic produced kits for Portugal, Hearts and Dundee Utd in the mid 1990s.

Charly is a new manufacturer that’s making inroads in Mexico and central America. http://www.charlyfutbol.com

Atletica is another Mexican football outfitter.

Reusch made GK kits, if that counts.

Kelme made kits for, among others, Real Madrid.

      Awesome – thank you!
Can’t believe we missed Atletica and Kelme!
Pretty sure I see a pic of a team wearing Reusch yesterday actually.
      Hadn’t heard of Charly!

Historical Football Kits has a number of manufacturers listed with various club kits. Just looking at Accrington Stanley, I saw a few names I never heard before.

O’Neills Sportswear of Ireland https://www.oneills.com/ have been making football kits for a long time, they currently produce the jersey for FC United Of Manchester and the rather odd new Wycombe Wanderers goalie top!
